Pray for Your Pastor and Why It Matters More Than You Think
Most people in the church have no idea what their pastor carries. The weight of a sermon preached week after week. The phone calls at midnight. The hospital rooms. The counseling sessions. The spiritual warfare that comes with standing in front of people and declaring the Word of God. Praying for your pastor is not a nice gesture. The Biblical Case for Praying for Your Leaders

Pray for his children to love Jesus and not resent the church. Pray that his home is a place of rest and refuge, not another place where he has to perform. When a pastor’s family is healthy, the church benefits deeply.
Pray for His Preaching
Pray that when he opens the Word on Sunday, the Holy Spirit moves through him with clarity and power. Pray that the right word lands on the right heart at the right moment. Pray that he preaches with both courage and compassion, holding nothing back while speaking the truth in love.
