We of the Newfolden Evangelical Free Church believe God has called us to reach and develop people for His Kingdom.
Our youth ministry is geared toward young people from grades 7 to 12.
Since the mid 1970’s our church has been blessed to sustain a strong youth ministry. The teaching of God’s Word has always been foundational to our youth ministry. We have been open to creative means of ministering to youth while they have experienced hands on service in the areas of worship, community service, and missions. We have supported our youth with prayer and a significant investment of resources. Most recently we have a dedicated youth room and office space for the sake of greater effectiveness in reaching and developing the youth of our area.
In light of our history and philosophy of ministry we believe the following provides a reasonable expectation of ministry to the youth of our area:
• Provide an atmosphere that welcomes all youth
• Sustain an emphasis on both outreach and discipleship
• Help youth integrate the truth of the Bible into their lives
• Engage youth in Kingdom service
• Maintain quality working relationships with the authority figures of our youth (parents, church leaders, and the school) in order to provide the best possible cohesive input into their lives
