The Fold is a Christ-centered, grace-based residential program for at-risk teens. We are currently in need of Staff for our Boys’ and Girls’ Homes. We have positions open for both single adults and married couples, with no children living in the home, who would like to serve in ministry together.
Our Resident Disciplers/Mentors live and work in our Boys’ and Girls’ Homes helping to create a safe and nurturing environment for the teens in their care. Responsibilities include establishing daily routines, planning recreational activities, leading Bible studies, and setting a godly example. Candidates should be energetic, compassionate, fun-loving, and flexible. A four year degree in psychology, counseling, youth work, or a related field or equivalent experience is desired. Also necessary are good communication skills, integrity, humility, and teach-ability. A minimum of 2 years commitment is required. This is a full-time, salaried position, and staff are also encouraged to raise prayer and additional financial support.
Our Support Parents provide extra coverage for both the Boys’ and Girls’ Homes as needed when regular home staff is off-duty. Qualifications include a desire to work with teens in conflict, the ability to run a household including preparing meals, and a willingness to share your life with at-risk teens and the staff who ministers to them. Some of the responsibilities include teaching life skills to the teens, being available to staff and students for spiritual and emotional support, and setting a positive example of Christ-centered attitudes and conduct.
