I am a graduate of Lincoln Christian University working in campus ministry with Campus Christian Fellowship at the University of Iowa. We are looking at bringing on an intern to focus on working with International students this coming school year. The University’s most growing aspect of students is the international program and we do not have our foot in the door, but absolutely have a desire to! At CCF we believe we have the best gift to offer for college students – the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we want to give it to them, but we have not been very successful with International students – mostly for a lack of a passion-driven person to carry out that mission. With that, we are looking at bringing on an intern to get our foot in the door!
What this internship would look like would be essentially our intern launching a program and building a sustainable program for International students in the larger context of what we have going on for all college students.
We are looking for an intern for preferably the whole school year August 2018-May 2019. The internship is not paid, but housing is provided for single people (I’ll have to check for married people). There are a few options for income, however, one being support raising so you can work with us full-time; one being working part-time with us and part-time somewhere else; the other option being working with us part-time and with a local church part-time and they can help you out financially if they are interested in you as well.
If you are interested at all or know of anyone else that might be, please do not hesitate to email me back or call me at 219-776-3082.
Grace and Peace
